Interdisciplinary Therapy
We provide coordinated care in advanced restorative dentistry
There are many advanced dental conditions affecting adult patients that require a coordination of dental services to obtain the optimal result. Until recently, this coordination of effort was often left up to the patient, creating undue hardship on the patient, and treatments that often took far longer than necessary due to a lack of planning.
Recognizing this treatment shortfall, the dental profession has developed a new approach to patient care called Interdisciplinary Therapy (IDT). The practice of Doylestown Dental Solutions embraces this treatment philosophy. We have enrolled an exceptional specialty network of dental professionals who are committed to excellence to be part of our IDT team. All of the team members contribute by creating a collaborative dental treatment plan that is sequenced properly to save time and optimize results.
Since September 2001, Doylestown Dental Solutions and a pioneering team of dental professionals in the Doylestown, Bucks County area have assembled monthly to review new cases and evaluate the progress of existing patients in treatment. Each member brings their diverse specialty and background to the group in a unique educational forum that fosters ideal dentistry. Each member also has completed rigorous continuing educational curriculum as set forth by the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
Our goal is to provide our patients with healthy esthetics, function, structure, and biology. We utilize the most contemporary concepts to solve difficult dental problems. This includes oral surgery, orthodontics, periodontics, implant dentistry, and complex restorative dentistry. What makes our treatment philosophy unique is that we share in all aspects of the treatment process. Each member is challenged and encouraged by his or her peers to provide their mutual patients the absolute best dentistry possible.
IDT is not for everyone but good for those who suffer from:
- Multiple missing teeth
- Malocclusion (bad bite)
- Advanced periodontal disease
- Other advanced dental conditions

I am very pleased with the dramatic results that I achieved with my tooth whitening through Dr. Stone. The process was simple and the results are lasting. Carey
